Application Integration Improves Fund-Raising at a US University
This US university is a private research educational institution that offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs. To improve the effectiveness and accountability of these operations, the university needed to integrate the applications. Key advantages would be more effective tracking of fund-raising activities and elimination of error-prone, manual data entry. The IBM WebSphere Cast Iron Cloud integration and WebSphere Cast Iron Hypervisor Edition virtual appliance met these requirements, dramatically simplifying the integration of the Salesforce service with on-premises and cloud-based applications. The result of implementing IBM were achieved fast time to value from the "Configuration, not coding" approach to application integration. Improved tracking and visibility of fund-raising efforts from real-time access to business information and increased staff productivity and reduced errors.
