Sophos, was one of the first businesses in Germany to embrace Salesforce cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology on a large scale. To develop more integrated business processes, Astaro needed to find a way to integrate Salesforce.com with other, non-cloud based systems. Sophos chose IBM to overcome these challenges. Astaro implemented IBM WebSphere Cast Iron Cloud Integration as a virtual appliance to connect its local ERP system to its cloud-based CRM system. Astaro can now synchronise customer, product and sales data between the two systems seamlessly.
