Australian Hearing is one of the largest hearing service providers in the world. Their challenges were to protect mission-critical applications and information to avoid downtime and reduce capital expenditure and gain certainty around operating costs. They chose Vmware to overcome these challenges. A hosted disaster recovery service based on VMware vSphere and VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager. The results of deploying Vmware were minimised the risk of losing up to AUD$1 million a day if core systems are unavailable, saved AUD$450,000 and provided certainty around costs and ensured applications could be recovered in three hours rather than up to 48 hours.
