Auto Manufacturer Deploys Mobile Devices and App to Deliver Up-to-Date Materials to Sales Team

Subaru Canada wanted to make its salespeople’s jobs easier by giving them mobile access to the latest information about the company’s vehicles. The company enlisted imason inc., member of the Microsoft partner network with gold competencies, to develop an app that monitors the corporate extranet and continuously transfers updated information to a mobile device. After evaluating mobile hardware options, Subaru Canada deployed 300 Microsoft Surface Pro 3 devices to dealers. Subaru and imason have recently taken advantage of the easy upgrade capabilities to release a significant update to the sales app that provides integration with the corporate enterprise resource planning system, which runs on Microsoft Dynamics AX.
