The Council Rock School District is the twelfth-largest school district in Pennsylvania, serving the diverse needs of more than 11,200 students across 16 campus locations. Their challenges is to replace a hard-to manage distributed Microsoft DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) system with centralized, integrated core network services, managing 257 switches with minimal effort and protecting the network from malware. They chose Infoblox to overcome this challenge. They have implemented DDI, DNS Firewall, NetMRI, Two 1410 Infoblox appliances and Infoblox professional services. The results of implementing Infoblox were reduction in the number of issues caused by unauthorized changes, significant time savings through automation that eliminates spreadsheets, rapid identification and remediation of machines infected with malware.
