CSI-Piemonte (Consortium for Information Systems) was founded to promote modernization among local administrations through the advanced use of information and technology tools. Their challenges are they need to reduce operational costs, simplify client on-boarding, improve network performance and provide network integration with cloud environment. They chose Juniper Networks to overcome these challenges. They implemented SRX3400 and SRX5800 services gateways, vGW virtual GateWay, SA6500 SSL VPN appliance, Junos Space. The results of implementing the Juniper Networks were automated client separation on the network, reducing operational costs and on-boarding time, enhanced network security to protect virtualized data centers and clouds, realized integration between the network and VMware cloud environment and simplified network management with Junos Space.
