FRHI Hotels and Resorts is a global hotel management company that needed a flexible IT infrastructure to support its projected growth. FRHI chose Microsoft virtualization and datacenter management technologies for seven datacenters that host private clouds to deliver IT services to its hotels. Now, FRHI requires less than a week to add a new hotel into its collection. Also, it has improved service reliability, expedited application delivery and reduced storage costs by 50 percent. The company also saved licensing costs by retiring third-party products. In the Toronto datacenter, server consolidation contributed to a 30 percent reduction in power costs.
