Holy Spirit University of Kaslik Goes Green with Cloud-Based Office Productivity System

USEK was the first University in Lebanon to migrate the Microsoft Office personal productivity applications used by its 1,400 staff to the cloud as part of a 15-year-long project to become a truly ‘green’ organization. It had already moved its students to the cloud and has achieved high levels of cost and productivity savings due to both initiatives. In the near future, the aim is to have 50% of the University’s systems running in the cloud in order to greatly reduce its carbon footprint.
