Cisco employees have increasingly used online web conferences in place of in-person meetings and audio-only conference calls. Their challenges are to support employees' rapidly growing use of audio and web conferences by transitioning to Cisco WebEx services and create network design to support shift from inbound to outbound calls for conference access. They chose Cisco to overcome these challenges. They have implemented scalable network design that was so successful it is now marketed externally as Cisco WebEx cloud connected audio and transport most user audio calls for web conferences over Cisco network instead of PSTN. The results of implementing Cisco were reliable, scalable network designed to support very high conferencing usage and best possible end user experience for WebEx, integrating audio, web and video-conferencing.
