IT education firm Algebra had uneven success with Virtual Private Networking (VPN). PCs in its remote offices couldn't be managed fully or easily and business users often couldn't connect from customer locations or public hotspots that didn't accommodate VPN. By deploying Windows Server 2012 with DirectAccess technology, PCs in remote offices are now managed with the same tools and group policies as network-joined PCs and remote users can access the network from more places more easily.
