IT Provider Finds Highly Scalable Cloud-Based HPC Reduces Deployment Time by Months

What do the users do when they lack the space or money to add another node to their High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster? To find out if it was also a practical solution, ANEO experimented with an HPC workload on another cloud computing platform. ANEO wanted an answer before any of its customers got into that situation. Now it has one: Microsoft Azure big compute. ANEO found that the cloud-based HPC cluster is highly scalable, fast and flexible and delivers HPC computing without the investment needed for on-premises HPC.
