ADP is focused on providing reliable performance for their clients. In early 2014, they were having performance issues with their arrays when running NFS workloads. At the same time, they were adding some new SMB-connected application workloads. The storage engineering team was under pressure to run performance validation tests, but time, resources and funding were limited. Load DynamiX storage performance validation hardware, software, and professional services were introduced via a services engagement. Load DynamiX tests validated the products and configurations that would best support the various customer workloads, and fully mitigated the risks of deploying new solutions into the production datacenter. The storage engineering team gained full confidence that the storage systems from their vendors can support future workloads.
