In order to improve productivity and enable higher-value creation, Microsoft Services completely re-architected its knowledge collaboration platform and moved it into the cloud with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online. The 21,000 Microsoft Services division employees now have easier access to reusable knowledge, and can quickly create and share project portals that include powerful built-in document management and social communication tools. By design, the reimagined platform uses standard Office 365 features with minimal custom code running in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
