Aledo Independent School District (ISD), based in Aledo, Texas, educates a student population. Their challenges are to support campus expansion while reducing operational costs, leverage desktop virtualization solutions to sustain district growth and operate with limited number of IT staff. They chose Cisco to overcome these challenges. They have implemented in refreshing existing data center to support expanding campus population, update network foundation to accommodate virtual desktops and optimize staffing resources by operating with no additional manpower. The results of implementing Cisco were allowed school district to meet IT needs with reduced operating budget and reduced cabling and data center clutter to free space and consolidate industrial resources.
