Chester County School District needed an educational technology platform that fosters 21st century workplace skills. It launched a 1:1 technology program called hiTEC and decided to standardize on the Windows platform. By September 2014, all teachers and high school students will have tablets running Windows 8 and will use Microsoft Office 365 to expand the classroom with anytime, anywhere, learning experiences. They subscribed to Microsoft Office 365 cloud-based business productivity tools. Now students and teachers can use Microsoft OneDrive to store and share files online and Office OneNote to organize their work.
