Sheffield Hallam University operates around 30 different web-based applications that are accessible to 35,000 students and 5,000 staff members. Their challenges are to provide a reliable SSO system for online applications, increase application availability and improve application security. They chose F5 Networks to overcome these challenges. They have implemented BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM), BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and iRules control language.
