University of Minnesota Duluth consistently ranks as one of the leading regional universities in the Midwest. Their challenges are they need ease of use and integration with existing network tools and infrastructure, management of both Cisco Aironet and Airespace product lines from one console and visibility into the entire network for user monitoring and efficient planning. They chose Aruba Networks to overcome these challenges. They have implemented AirWave wireless management suite, RAPIDS rogue detection, Cisco Aironet 1230 series wireless access points, Aironet 350 series wireless access points and Airespace 4400 controller. The results of implementing the Aruba Networks were enormously successful, the campus community without overwhelming the small networking group responsible for supporting it and a scalable and efficient to control the network and manage their growth.
