Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is one of the oldest major aviation hubs in Europe. On an average day, CPH handles 60 scheduled airlines and serves over 60,000 passengers. Their challenges are to improve efficiency of airport operations and provide enhanced passenger experience. They chose Cisco to overcome these challenges. They have implemented Cisco mobility services engine enabled wireless platform and SITA Passenger@Airport for augmented reality and passenger flow. The results of implementing Cisco were passengers can navigate around the airport more efficiently, potential issues can be identified quickly and removed before passengers are affected and on target to increase passenger satisfaction and throughput to 30 million a year.
