VMware VCloud Director Helps NDI Speed Technology Delivery Within Efforts That Support Democracy

The National Democratic Institute needs to deliver applications to users who lack the infrastructure and resources to host them; it must also drive efficiency in its application delivery processes so that it can focus resources on core activities. They chose VMware to overcome these challenges. The Institute is using VMware vCloud Director and Bluelock Virtual Datacenters to streamline and automate the provisioning of virtual resources on behalf of its user communities. The results of deploying VMware vCloud were new virtual environments can be provisioned in minutes, environments stable, secure, cost to host environments minimized with use of an enterprise-class public cloud and engineers freed to focus on higher-value tasks.
