AMAZON WEB SERVICES
Amazon Web Services, a subsidiary of Amazon, has led the cloud services market since it first launched in 2006. Considered one of the most comprehensive and broadly adopted clouds, AWS offers customers over 200 products.
From data centers to storage, security and tools like AI and machine learning, AWS is heavily invested in research and development and continually innovates to offer the most cutting-edge technologies.
In 2022, AWS was selected for the 12th year in a row as a Leader in the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services. The AWS global infrastructure is composed of 99 availability zones within 31 geographic regions worldwide. AWS has plans for 15 more availability zones and five more AWS regions in Canada, Israel, Malaysia, New Zealand and Thailand.
