Cisco Live 2019: Updates and news
At Cisco Live 2019, Cisco debuted a series of software enhancements designed to put AI and machine learning deeper into the network. Key features include new network automation and analytics tools that are meant to help enterprise IT teams glean more insights and visibility from network data. Cisco’s developer program DevNet announced an update to its professional certification program. The update joins software developers with network professionals under a new community-based developer center, with the hopes of accelerating the progress of network automation in organizations.

Speaking during the opening keynote at Cisco Live 2019 in San Diego, Robbins focused on the role of technology in our world in 2019 versus 1989 when Cisco held its first conference called “Networkers” that eventually became Cisco Live.
