Are SDN and NFV Better Together?

It’s 2016 and the world is finally beginning to see the long-anticipated rise of advanced technologies, Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV). After years of hype in the media, the two are finally on the brim of a new digital reign. Their individual emergence comes at a fairly common time, leading specialists and businesses alike to ask themselves the question – would they both work better together? Like all man-made creations, neither of these technologies are perfect. Regardless of their advanced status; they each have their limitations accompanying their advantages. So let us take a look at them independently as well as collectively before we sign off with a concluding answer to the titular question.
