The data center industry is faced with the demands of ever growing data, coming from a multitude of sources and technologies. Industry expert Bruce Taylor rightly says, “The growth in data from all sources will catch us all off-guard. Conservative estimates suggest that we’ll cross the 50zettabytes of data to be trafficked across networks, processed, stored, and used in every realm of human endeavor.” This means that data centers will have to come up with not just sophisticated, but also cost effective technologies and solutions.
