DC West joins Singtel’s network of eight other data centres in Singapore, including our data centre at Kim Chuan 19km away, or our Bedok data centre about 23km in the East. This geographical separation coupled with our inter-DC fibre optic network means the data centres are ideally positioned for disaster recovery or business continuity, yet close enough that engineers can easily travel between them without compromising their reaction times.
