In this paper, the authors investigate the interaction and cooperation among wireless users to improve their secrecy rate through Cooperative Jamming (CJ) in a decentralized wireless network. This cooperation issue is formulated as a coalitional game with non-transferable utility, and a distributed coalition formation algorithm named the merge-split-exchange algorithm is proposed. Using the proposed algorithm, the wireless users can self-organize into disjoint and stable coalitions, while maximize their secrecy rate, especially taking into account the cooperative costs commonly exist in the practical scenarios.
