In Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET), since the nodes are mobile, the network topology may change rapidly and unpredictably over time. Hence any routing protocol has to handle large control overhead leading to inefficient utilization of bandwidth and energy of each node in the network. Several routing protocols have already been proposed to address this issue. This paper suggests a routing approach which utilizes geographical position of nodes and uses it with reactive routing technique to improve performance of routing protocols.
