A Decoding for a Block Coded Scheme With Interblock Memory

Applying inter-block memory to binary linear block codes is a method to increase the transmission reliability by increasing the correlation among code-words. In this paper, the authors consider short block coding with inter-block memory. Since short block codes can be efficiently decoded by employing the A Algorithm, they investigate the performance of short block coding with inter-block memory using the A decoding. In addition, they propose a simple method which can alleviate the effect of error propagation resulting from inter-block memory.
