The exponential demand for high performance web servers results in the utilization of web server cluster. Usually, the performance of web server nodes in cluster is different and web server cluster is heterogeneous. Furthermore, increasing dynamic requests are changing traditional web environment. So the load-balancing algorithm in heterogeneous cluster is crucial. However, traditional load-balancing algorithms don't consider the difference of the dynamic requests' service time in heterogeneous cluster-based web servers and have more overheads. This paper proposes a new load-balancing algorithm for heterogeneous environment.
