A Framework of Energy Efficient Wireless Sensor Network Architecture for Continuous Monitoring Applications
A Wireless Sensor Network is composed of a large number of sensor nodes which are resource constraints (e.g. Limited battery power). This drives the authors' research focus to gather data / information efficiently so that the life of the network can be prolonged. In this paper, they present an abstract view of a framework for a wireless sensor network. The design of event based continuous monitoring heterogeneous wireless sensor network is made simple and energy efficient by using the proposed framework.
