A Logistic Metrics Scorecard Based Approach to Intrusion Detection System Evaluation for Wireless Network

Logistical metrics are used to measure expense, maintainability, and manageability of a wireless IDS. Wireless IDS is used to analyze traffic specific to wireless along with scanning for external users trying to connect to the network through access points and play important role in providing security to wireless network. Design of wireless IDS is a difficult task as wireless technology is advancing every day, Logistic metrics can play an important role in the design of wireless IDS by measuring the areas concern with the logistics of a wireless IDS. In this paper, the authors describes a set of logistic metrics that are relevant to wireless IDS.
