Composition is still one of the most challenging key design goals of Web services technology. While they are designed to be aggregated and work with each other, most of existing Web services are developed independently and uses different standards. Detecting all the incompatibilities of Web services composability before processing the composition would increase the efficiency and correctness of this latter considerably. In this direction, the authors propose a multi-aspect Web services composability model, aligned with WSDL 2.0, SAWSDL and WS-Policy 1.5 standards, which addresses a set of functional, non-functional, contextual, data structure and technical composability rules to check whether to or more web services operations can concretely interact with each other.
