Complexity of interconnect is increasing due to technology advancement in VLSI. Delay, power consumption, and number of repeaters is increasing due to increase in the complexity of interconnect. Design of repeaters is a critical issue. Thus repeater should dissipate less power, produce less delay and should be able to able to operate at higher frequencies. If device operate in sub-threshold region, then average power dissipation is less than the devices operating in super-threshold region. The simulation results shown in the paper indicates that the LVSB bias repeater circuit operates at medium frequency range with better power-delay product as compared with the conventional repeater in sub-threshold region.
