A Novel Automated Methodology for Spam Detection in Facebook
Presently, the authors are in the era of Social Media Networks (SMN), this is evident with the accessibility of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Flickr and so on. All these are based on the internet and the web 2.0 technologies. These social media sites allow an individual to create a public/semi-public profile, such that the individual can communicatively access other users of social media. Owing to the massive usage of Facebook, several spams are being spread up by the adversary. Thus, an automated system is needed to weed out spams. This system classifies by using SVM classifier and hierarchical clustering algorithm is used. This system proves its efficiency and is presented in experimental results.
