A Novel Method for Downlink Frequency Allocation for Next Generation Wireless Networks
Cellular systems such as 802.16e Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access (Wi-MAX) and 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) and all other currently emerging technologies are based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). OFDMA is basically a combination of FDM and TDM. OFDMA suffers from heavy inter cell interference from the neighboring base stations because they use the same frequency range, especially those who are in edge suffer from heavy inter cell interference. The proposed paper consists of Inter-Cell Interference Coordination (ICIC) management and fine PRB allocation by using simple and effective graph based framework.
