A wireless network is the collection of mobile nodes without the requirement of any centralized access point. The wireless network uses the air through the operation of the communication protocols. Wireless networks use a carrier sense protocol for the synchronization and these protocols are similar to the Ethernet standard. This paper presents a review on Carrier Sense Multiple Access (CSMA) and Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) protocol. RFID is an enhancement of CSMA protocol. RFID protocol controls collision and packet loss problem.
