Recent technological advances in communication and computation have enabled the development of low-cost, low-power, small in size, and multifunctional sensor nodes in wireless sensor network. Power saving is the crucial issue in designing the wireless sensor network. The main constraint on the implementation of a wireless sensor network is power of the node i.e. battery life of the nodes. In this paper, the authors intend to design centralized and power saver hierarchical routing protocol and compare with Base station Controlled Dynamic Clustering Protocol (BCDCP) and Scaling Hierarchical Power Efficient Routing (SHPER).
