"Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) are in demand in some crucial applications by researchers and industries due to their open architecture and the mobility feature. Here, nodes dynamically join the network and cooperate with each other for multi-hop communication. Multimedia applications which generally be defined as a combination of data, audio, graphics, video, images and animation, showing real-time, variable bit-rate traffic characteristics place stringent requirements in terms of bandwidth, delay, jitter and packet loss on network. The increasing use of multimedia applications and internet technology by user, provision of Quality of Service (QoS) in Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) is an area of great interest for the companies to serve them better."
