Cloud computing is a model that enables omnipresent network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Cloud computing and storage solution provide capabilities to users for store and process their data in third party data centers. To make the data confidential, an algorithm and secret key are used for the data to be encrypted. In this paper, the authors discuss about the various data security techniques used to secure the data in cloud computing. Many papers are taken for survey. Its advantages and disadvantages are discussed.
