Wireless networks are susceptible or vulnerable to identity based attack such as spoofing attacks which are easy to launch. Conventional cryptographic schemes to authenticate the communicator and detect any adversaries require huge infrastructure and computational overhead. This paper describes survey on detection and localalization of multiple spoofing attackers in wireless networks. The authors have spatial information a physical property of a node which have its no dependence on cryptography and also hard to falsify for determining spoofing attack. Determining the number of attackers when multiple adversaries masqueariding as the same node identity and localizing multiple adversaries. RSS (Received Signal Strength) is used to determine spatial correlation and cluster based mechanisms are used to determine number of attackers.
