XML data's are more often used in organizations and business sectors in recent years, so there is an increasing need for effective and efficient processing of queries on XML data. XML allows applications to communicate with different platforms. As plenty of XML data is available on the internet but it is a challenging task to extract the required information from XML database. It is difficult to answer queries without any support. Towards this, in this paper the authors present the technique called Tree-based Association Rules (TARs)that provide the information on the structure and content of the XML file. With this query answering becomes very easy.
