Software sizing is an activity in software engineering that is used to estimate the size of a software project in order to be able to apply other software project activities. Accurate software project estimation is determined by the degree to which the software managers have correctly estimated the size of the software. Accurate sizing estimation is an important measurement in the calculation of estimated project costs, effort, schedules and duration which provides important information for software project development. Estimation in software projects can be carried out by first measuring the size of the product to be developed.
