Data dissemination from data source to data sink is of prime importance in wireless sensor networks. The current data dissemination scheme is however not energy-efficient in that it constructs a dissemination tree without taking into consideration that data sinks have different requests updating data rates. In order to address this problem several algorithms and routing protocols have been used over the past decade. In trying to determine the best way for energy consumption most research has explored algorithms which use the mesh topology for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN).
