Reliability, power efficiency and timeliness are the critical issues in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The engineers must fulfill the QoS requirements imposed by the applications(users).To satisfy QoS metrics such as Reliability, timeliness and energy efficiency, these WSNs must overcome major obstacles such as dynamic environmental changes, limited energy/range/memory/computational capabilities of nodes in WSNs. This paper proposes an adaptive routing protocol Power-Control Delay-Aware Routing and MAC protocol (PCDARM) for wireless sensor networks. This protocol aims to route the packets along multiple paths with differential delay between these multiple paths bounded in a range and with energy constraints in forwarding packets between nodes of the network considering link reliability.
