In spatial domain stegnographic algorithms, the Least Significant Bit (LSB) approach is quite popular. But in this approach, the choice of embedding the positions with the cover image is based on the pseudorandom generator and it does not consider the relationship of image content and also the size of secret image. So the smooth regions are infected even for low embedding rate which leads to poor visual quality of image which in turn poor security. In this paper, the authors propose an edge adaptive scheme which selects embedding regions according to the size of secret data and difference between two consecutive pixels in cover image.
