AFS: Privacy-Preserving Public Auditing With Data Freshness in the Cloud

With cloud computing and storage, users are able to access and to share resources offered by cloud service providers at a lower marginal cost. In cloud storage, users can remotely store their data and enjoy the on-demand high quality applications and services. The integrity of cloud data is subject to skepticism due to the existence of hardware/software failures and human errors. Several mechanisms have been designed to allow both data owners and public verifiers to efficiently audit cloud data integrity without retrieving the entire data from the cloud server.
