An Algorithm for Fairness Between Secondary Users in Cognitive Radio Network

Scheduling Secondary Users (SUs), to exploit the free channels in cognitive radio network, represents one of the major challenges. In this paper, the authors propose an algorithm to ensure fairness of service between the secondary users. This fairness is expressed in terms of transfer rates. The algorithm produces a chain containing the order wherein the packets of each SU will be sent. The experimental results provide transfer rates too close to their average. This proves the efficiency of scheduler proposed.
