A Vehicular Ad Hoc NETwork (VANET) is an instance of MANETs that establishes wireless connections between vehicles. The continuous exchange of routing control packets causes the appearance of network congestion, then limiting the global performance of the VANET. Thus, the Quality-of-Service (QoS) of OLSR significantly depends on the selection of its parameters, which determine the protocol operation and key exchange operation. Key exchange as Asymmetric encryption algorithms (public key algorithms) use different keys for encryption and decryption, and the decryption key cannot (practically) be derived from the encryption key. Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) used to prevent crash prediction thus avoids accidents. OLSR has a wide range of improvements by changing the configuration parameters and key files.
