AES is the most common block cipher algorithm used in this mobile communication revolution. The general assumption of all Crypto designers is that the cryptographic functions operate as 'Black box' and no secret keys are detected by attackers. But, in practical scenario the information is leaked by the devices through temperature, power consumption, time taken for computation, or electromagnetic emanation called as side channel information. This information can be correlated to secret key and channels can be exploited by the attackers. Here, the proposed AES method is incorporated by combinational circuit design to protect the secret key against various attacks. A strong focus is highly placed on power analysis attacks, which are required to support security for current and future commercial applications.
