Memory integrity verification is generally used to protect against corruption or unauthorized modification to information and provide a tamper-proof environment. The memory integrity verification efficiency is generally considered as one of the most important factors in practical application. The authors present a high-performance scheme to realize memory integrity verification. Firstly, it introduces the general situation of related works. Then, based on the HW-HTree (Hot Window Hash Tree) mechanism and aiming at improving the efficiency of the verification process, they propose an optimized verification mechanism-AHW-HTree (Advanced Hot Window Hash Tree). AHW-HTree significantly reduces the cost of the verification process with low additional hardware expenditure.
