Analysis and design of an isolated bi-directional AC -DC converter for the high DC voltage application is proposed for a 380-V DC power distribution system to control bidirectional power flows and to improve its power conversion efficiency. This paper is to distribute the voltage from DC to AC (reverse mode) as well as AC to DC (forward mode) in bidirectional mode and to improve the efficiency and switching loss. The major novelty of the proposed system the suggestion of a simple and intuitive frequency detection method for the single-phase SRF-PLL using an advanced filter compensator, a fast quad-cycle detector, and a Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter.
